This is definitely not your grocery store donut, because it isn’t fried, it’s baked. Surprisingly good, however, for a healthy donut. 🙂 Don’t even attempt this without a donut pan.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
3/4 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp HOT water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°. Lightly spray donut pan with cooking oil.
In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter, eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Beat until well blended.
Fill each donut hole 2/3 full. Bake 8 minutes until tops spring back lightly when touched. Remove from pan and dip into glaze of your choice. Decorate with sprinkles, shaved chocolate, coconut, etc. Donuts may also be dipped into cinnamon and sugar instead of glaze.
Yields 36 donuts.
Wow! I want some!!!
Where did you buy the pans for these? I have been looking for some! can't find it!
Ashton, I bought the pan on Amazon.
