BBQ Chicken Pizza Bake

BBQ Chicken Pizza Bake

I still had a Pillsbury dough sheet in the fridge, and some leftover homemade BBQ sauce, so I threw this together for dinner last night.  If you like BBQ chicken pizza, you will love this meal.
INGREDIENTS:
One serving of BBQ Chicken Pizza Bake
One Pillsbury dough sheet
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed
1/2 of one large red onion
1/3 C of BBQ Sauce
1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese (shredded)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350°.  Slice onion and cube chicken and cook together in a pan until the chicken is cooked through and the onions are soft.  Remove from heat, and add BBQ sauce.
Roll your dough sheet on to a greased, foil lined baking sheet.  Cut one inch slices on the sides (picture below) and layer half of the cheese down the center.  Place chicken topping on top of the cheese and top with remaining cheese.  Starting at one end, fold pieces diagonally over each other forming a “braid.”
Top with egg wash if desired (One egg, 2 T of water or milk) and bake for 20-30 minutes until dough is brown and not gooey in the middle.  Enjoy!
