Cake Pops |
I wanted to make cake pops for my friend Emily’s bridal shower, but I was limited on time. I have to admit, I felt a little shame when I realized this was something Sandra Lee would do (she bothers me) but it worked! I came up with this super easy way to make them, and they were adorable and delicious.
Ingredients:
One package of store-bought doughnut holes
One package of Wilton Candy Melts (basically colored white chocolate, about $2.50, can find in any craft store, or even WalMart)
Sprinkes
Lollipop sticks
Directions:
Place lollipop sticks through the end of each doughnut hole. Melt candy melts (make sure not to burn) and stir until smooth. Dip each doughnut hole into the candy melt mixture and cover with sprinkles. It helps to have some sort of foam to stick the sticks into while they dry. I used my foam “tree” which I found at Joann Fabrics, and I just left them in there for the shower. If you placed them on parchment paper or something, they would stick. Highly recommend some kind of foam. 🙂 Enjoy!
