As 2011 draws to a close, I thought I do a posting recapping my ten most popular posts from this past year. What a year this was for Rumbly In my Tumbly. I really picked up my blogging last winter, and the blog has really take off. I am so thankful for all of my readers!
#10 Homemade Pop Tarts
Absolutely crazy, since I first posted them 28 days ago!! But these delicious little homemade jammy pies were number ten in my popular posts for this year, thanks to the power of Pinterest.
#9 Cinnamon Brown Sugar Pull Apart Bread
One of them most beautiful things that I made this year. Time consuming yes, but absolutely worth the effort. Each little piece of this bread was like taking a little bite of heaven.
#8 4th of July Cake Pops
This was one of those things that I didn’t think would be a terribly big hit. I thought “How many people want to make cake pops for the 4th of July?” Turns out, A LOT!!
One of my favorite soups and one of my top posts for 2011. Worth every single calorie.
#6 Cinnamon Toast Twisties
I think this was MY very favorite find of 2011. These are so easy and so addictive. I see a lot of these in my kid’s future after school snacks. So yummy.
#5 Disneyland’s White Chocolate Raspberry Cookie
I knew this would be a popular post, because it’s a popular cookie, and I couldn’t find the recipe online ANYWHERE. I had to work with this cookie and tried making it several times before I got it as close as I felt I could get it. It’s a darn good cookie.
#4 Cinnamon Roll Cake
What’s not to like? A cinnamon roll without all the work involved.
#3 Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites
My favorite candy bar is a Take 5 bar, so I knew I’d like these. They are DANGEROUS! Apparently, you all liked them too!
#2 Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissants
I have a confession to make: I almost didn’t put these on my blog. They were too easy. They use refrigerated crescent rolls and take 5 minutes to pull together. I wasn’t cray about my photographs of them either. I sure am glad I posted them, because they brought more visitors to my blog than I could have possibly imagined.
#1 Godfather’s Cinnamon Streusel Dessert Pizza
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I fell into the absolute depths of despair when the last Godfather’s Pizza in my area closed. Not for the pizza, but for the dessert pizza. I tried over and over to duplicate that pizza, until I finally did. I was so happy with the results that I have made this pizza over and over since. It was my first Foodgawker post as well, and I am pretty proud of it. And not surprisingly, a lot of people went searching for this recipe, because not only is it my top post of 2011, it is my top post of all time.
I wish you all a safe New Years and a blessed 2012, and my tummy can’t wait to see and taste the delicious things that the new year will bring!
yummo Shannon! All 10 look delicious!
Thanks Steph!
