|Wendy’s Style Chili|
I love the chili and Wendy’s. It’s one of the lower-calorie filling items on their menu, and on lazy days when I take my kids to the park and let them have fast food for lunch, I will pick up a bowl of the chili for myself. So, when I saw this recipe for Wendy’s Copycat Chili on Mama Loves Food, I knew I would have to try it immediately.
It was very, very good. In fact, I made it 4 days ago, and I’m sitting here still eating it for leftovers, and I daresay it is even better than it was the first day.
I did make a couple of changes; I halved the recipe (if you make this entire recipe, you will have a butt-ton of chili), I made mine in the crockpot, and I used Great Northern beans instead of kidney beans, because I prefer them.
This recipe is a keeper, and perfect for a fall day.
