Imagine being 37 years old and finding out you had been cooking broccoli wrong your entire life. Imagine you’d been steaming it for the last 20 years, only to discover that roasting it tasted better, AND was easier. This is particularly egregious if broccoli is the only vegetable that every single person in your family of five will eat, and you make it at least three times a week.
Not that I know anybody like that.
But for real you guys, you’re gonna love this one. All you have to do is cut up some broccoli, toss it around in oil and a few other things, and stick it in the oven, and it’s done. Best broccoli you’ve ever taste.

Ingredients:
- 3 large heads of Broccoli sliced into 1-inch thick steaks
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons parmesan
- 3-4 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Add sliced broccoli to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil, then toss gently.

Roast for 15 minutes

Sprinkle with parmesan and bake for 2 more minutes.

Remove from the oven, and enjoy!
