I just wanted to play around with these this evening, so I used a white cake mix, some rainbow chip frosting (my hubby’s favorite) and here they are! Super cute, next time I will have to spend time decorating them to make them cute.

This is simple to do by dividing the batter equally among six small bowls. Color each bowl of batter a different color. I made- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Layer colored batter in the order of a rainbow’s colors into cupcake liners. Remember the order? Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo (I skipped this one), and violet.

These would be especially fun to make with kids. Super easy and super cute!
